About Dr Desiree Beekharry
Dr Desiree Beekharry is a keynote speaker, facilitator and international expert on fear, risk and human behaviour in high-pressure environments.
With over 30 years’ experience spanning international airlines, VIP government services, UN emergency mobilisation and large-scale disaster response, she has worked at the intersection of high stakes, high pressure and human behaviour.
Desiree holds a Doctor of Project Management specialising in Disaster Management and is a certified behavioural profiler. Her research and field experience across Europe, the United States and Australia give her a rare global perspective on how culture, power and identity shape conflict.
She regularly runs workshops and facilitates training across conflict, communication and cultural dynamics, risk, crisis and disaster leadership, emotional intelligence under pressure, communication in high-stakes environments and organisational change.
