I spent many years in the airline industry. One of the positions I held was as a VIP Manager and it was my role to meet, greet, assist and board high-profile passengers (movie stars, singers, models, sports personalities etc.) in the premium cabins (First, Business) and remain within the cabin until the door were ready to close.
