I spent many years in the airline industry. One of the positions I held was as a VIP Manager and it was my role to meet, greet, assist and board high-profile passengers (movie stars, singers, models, sports personalities etc.) in the premium cabins (First, Business) and remain within the cabin until the door were ready to close.

This greeting told me that the Captain is either positive, dynamic and trusts his crew. It told me that barely an hour on board preparing the cabins and the crew were stressed and unhappy. It told me a lot about the culture, the management and the behaviour to expect from the crew on the flight.
